Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador of Guinea to Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev has received the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guinea to our country, Mohamed Keita.

Ambassador Mohamed Keita passed in front of the Guard of Honour.

Mohamed Keita presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then, President Ilham Aliyev spoke with the ambassador.

Noting the existence of mutual interest in and great potential for economic cooperation between the Azerbaijan Republic and the Republic of Guinea, the head of state said that this cooperation is not at the appropriate level now. President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that during his diplomatic activity in our country, Ambassador Mohamed Keita will establish business relations with relevant government agencies, possibilities will be explored and a new format of cooperation will be defined.

Ambassador Mohamed Keita congratulated the head of state on his re-election as President. He said that his country is interested in strengthening economic relations with Azerbaijan. Noting that there were ample opportunities for developing cooperation, Ambassador Mohamed Keita said he would spare no effort in this direction.
