The head of state expressed satisfaction with the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union. Stressing that the level of our cooperation is satisfactory, President Ilham Aliyev expressed the hope that these relations will continue in the coming years. Noting the importance of finding ways to further strengthen the partnership between our country and the European Union in various fields, the head of state expressed confidence that during Malena Mard’s work in Azerbaijan these ties will become even more active.
Ambassador Malena Mard noted the importance of the existing mutual interest in the development of relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan. Stressing the importance of the event to be held in Baku on 17 December - the signing ceremony of the final investment decision on Shah Deniz-2, Malena Mard said that there are active cooperative relations between our country and the entity she represents.
