On 20 December, the head of state skied. Initially, President Ilham Aliyev skied from the slope of the second lift to the fourth lift. Then, he went upstairs by the fourth lift and skied from the slope of the lift to the third lift. After that, the head of state went upstairs by the third lift and skied on the new slope.
The implementation of this project, which has been created in our country for the first time and meets international standards, offers great opportunities for the development of skiing and other winter sports, especially for the development of tourism in the country.
The number of visitors to the tourist complex located at an altitude of 1,300-2m300 metres above sea level is growing day by day.
The hotels, which were built at the Shahdag winter and summer tourism complex, were opened with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev yesterday and became a major contribution to the rapidly growing tourism sector in Azerbaijan, further increase the interest in this holiday destination. The conditions created in the complex once again confirm that today the development of the tourism sector is one of the main priorities in our country.
