As part of a visit to Ganja, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reviewed Hotel “VEGO”.
Hotel “VEGO” is located in the center of Ganja. It is built at the level of modern standards.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the hotel would provide high-level services. The rooms are well suited for the convenience of guests. It was noted that the hotel, which is an important tourist attraction not only for Ganja but also for the entire region, has a perfect infrastructure.
The opening of Hotel “VEGO” is expected to increase the number of tourists coming to the region. Located near the hotel are the Shah Abbas mosque and the "Chekek hamam" baths. The "Chekek hamam" baths were built by architect Sheikh Bagauddin Muhammad Amil in 1606. The building has a dome. During the restoration of the baths their historical appearance was preserved. The first floor of the hotel has a direct underground tunnel leading to "Chekek hamam", which is considered a historical and architectural monument of Ganja.
