President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Holcim Bernard Fontana in Davos.

The sides noted during the meeting that Holcim was successfully working in Azerbaijan and emphasized that the construction of a new cement plant serves to further enhance cooperation between the holding and Azerbaijan.

The parties also stressed the significance of mutual investments between Azerbaijan and Switzerland, adding that this contributed to the expansion of economic ties.

The sides exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation.
