Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Swiss Confederation Didier Burkhalter in Davos

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with President of the Swiss Confederation Didier Burkhalter in Davos.

The sides expressed their satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland. The Presidents noted that the cooperation in political, economic, energy, investment, construction and banking spheres had great potential and expressed their confidence of a further expansion of ties in these areas.

The meeting also noted that the rapid economic development of Azerbaijan creates good opportunities for a further expansion of bilateral relations. The heads of state expressed their confidence that mutual investments would continue to expand.

The sides exchanged views on the current state of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict were and other issues of mutual interest.
