Official welcoming ceremony for President Ilham Aliyev was held at the President's Palace in Tehran

The official welcoming ceremony for President Ilham Aliyev, who has arrived in the Islamic Republic of Iran on an official visit, has taken place in Tehran.

A guard of honour for the head of our state was formed at the square in front of the Presidential Palace where the state flags of Azerbaijan and Iran were flown.

The President of Iran Hassan Rouhani welcomed Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The national anthems of Azerbaijan and Iran were played.

The guard commander issued the report to the Azerbaijani President.

The heads of state inspected the guard of honour.

The presidents posed for the official photograph.
