I have been deeply saddened by the news of the death of great writer and Nobel laureate Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

I share in your grief over this irreparable loss and express my deepest condolences to you, the bereaved family and all the people of Colombia on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
