President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov.
Defense Minister Serik Akhmetov conveyed greetings and best regards, on behalf of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, to the head of state.
They stressed that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan were successfully developing in various areas, including in politics, economics and energy, and expressed confidence that Defense Minister Serik Akhmetov`s visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to expanding military cooperation among other areas.
President Ilham Aliyev thanked President Nursultan Nazarbayev for his greetings, and asked Serik Akhmetov to communicate his greetings to the Kazakh leader.
