President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a chess school in the city of Khirdalan.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the school.
A photo corner describing contributions of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to the development of sports, including chess in the country was created in the school.
The head of state reviewed the school. The President was informed that the facility had a tournament hall, training and auxiliary rooms.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev completed his working visit to the Russian Federation on April 22.
