Ilham Aliyev received the CEO of Formula One Group

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Chief Executive Officer of Formula One Group Bernard Ecclestone.

During the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of government attention being paid to the development of sports in Azerbaijan and noted that the country had a good experience in organizing high-profile international events.

During the conversation, the parties expressed their confidence that Formula One racing would be excellently organized in Azerbaijan in 2016, adding that this event would contribute to a further expansion of Azerbaijan’s international cooperation in the field of sports.
