President Ilham Aliyev has received Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum Seyed Mohammad Hossein Adeli.
Secretary General Seyed Mohammad Hossein Adeli informed the head of state of the organization he heads. He said 17 member states of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum were interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan. Saying Azerbaijan has big experience in this area, Seyed Mohammad Hossein Adeli expressed his confidence that the country will play an important role on the global gas market.
President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan has huge gas reserves, noting that the country is successfully transporting natural gas on various routes.
The head of state expressed his confidence that cooperation with the Gas Exporting Countries Forum will also contribute to the development of the bilateral relations with the member states of the organization.
The parties discussed the issues related to cooperation prospects.
