Ilham Aliyev received the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Azerbaijan, Sabine Ulmann Shaban.

Ambassador Sabine Ulmann Shaban passed along the guard of honor.

Sabina Ullman Shaban presented her credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev conversed with the Ambassador.

The President highlighted the good level of relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland and said his country was determined to deepen this cooperation in various fields.

Having affirmed the President’s positive statements about good level of relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland, the Ambassador noted the importance of various level reciprocal visits for both countries. Sabine Ulmann Shaban also underlined the necessity of continuing to develop ties between the countries.

The President stressed that relations had been dynamically improving in the recent years and that the ties between the two countries had been carrying partnership character. The President also talked about the importance of mutual visits on presidential levels.

Having expressed his confidence in successful tenure of the diplomat in Azerbaijan, the President wished success to the Ambassador.
