Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the European Games Park

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, his wife, chairperson of the Baku 2015 First European Games Organizing Committee Mehriban Aliyeva and his daughter Arzu Aliyeva have attended the opening of the European Games Park.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the park.

Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov informed the Azerbaijani President and his wife that the European Games Park will host water polo, beach volleyball, beach soccer and basketball competitions. The park consists of three sports facilities and four functional zones.

President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva inspected the work carried out in the park.

Then the head of state and his wife viewed the taxies which will serve the official and technical staff from European countries during the Games.
