President Ilham Aliyev received President of the International Canoe Federation José Perurena.
Having mentioned that he would visit Mingachevir rowing center as per agenda of his trip to the country, President of the International Canoe Federation José Perurena noted the importance of such centers for organization of international sports events.
The President noted that following the demise of the Soviet Union, the rowing center had fallen into desuetude and only in recent years the center had undergone renovation and restoration of the highest standards.
Throughout the meeting, the sides expressed assurance that the rowing center would contribute to development of sports in the country and broadening of international cooperation.
