Ilham Aliyev held a private meeting with President of Romania Traian Băsescu

Following the official welcoming ceremony, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Romanian President Traian Băsescu held a private meeting.

Successful development of Azerbaijan-Romanian bilateral relations in various fields, including the political, economic, energy and humanitarian spheres and importance of high-level mutual visits were highlighted during the meeting. The Presidents expressed assurance in further development of relations between the two states.

The Presidents exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international issues.
