President Ilham Aliyev received President of the International Equestrian Federation, Her Royal Highness Haya bin Al Hussein.

President of the International Equestrian Federation, Her Royal Highness Haya bint Al Hussein was welcomed by First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mehriban Aliyeva.

Then, President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva held a meeting with Her Royal Highness Haya bint Al Hussein.

Her Royal Highness Haya bin Al Hussein delivered the greetings of Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II to the President.

President Ilham Aliyev recalled his past meeting in Dubai with Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum with content. Noting that he meets with King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, II Abdullah regularly, the President talked about the importance of high-level mutual visits.

The importance of the international show jumping tournament dedicated to national leader Heydar Aliyev was stressed at the meeting. The sides expressed confidence that the event would contribute to expanding of Azerbaijan’s international sports cooperation.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings of Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and King of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Abdullah II, and requested his greetings to be delivered to Emir of Dubai and the King of Jordan in return.
