Ilham Aliyev attended opening of Nohurgishlag-Tuntul-Yengije highway

President Ilham Aliyev has today attended the opening of the Nohurgishlag-Tuntul-Yengije highway after the major overhaul as part of his visit to Qabala district.

Chairman of Azeravtoyol Saleh Mammadov informed the head of state about reconstruction work. He said the two lane road, which is 12.2 km in length and 6 metres in width, was covered with a new lay of asphalt and concrete.

The President was informed that 113m long 12 water pipes were built and reconstructed here. A bridge was built in the road`s section in Tuntul village. Bus stations were built, and traffic signs were installed along the road.

The highway, which links 3 residential areas in Qabala district with the total population of 7,000 people, provides access to the Qaramaryam-Ismayilli-Shaki highway.
