Ilham Aliyev viewed School No. 109 in Nizami District after major overhaul

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has viewed the conditions at secondary school No. 109 in Nizami district, Baku after major overhaul.

The head of state was informed that the building was constructed in 1966.

A bust to martyr Rahila Orujova, a graduate of the school, was installed in the yard of the school.

There are photo stands in the foyer of the school reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s meetings with education workers and their participation in the opening ceremonies of schools.

The 760-seat school has 42 classrooms and 5 departments. All the classrooms are supplied with state-of the-art teaching equipment.

Pupils are served here by 85 teachers. 76 per cent of graduates of the school entered universities this year.

The head of state wished the school staff success.
