Ilham Aliyev received delegation led by State Secretary of Belarusian Security Council

President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Stanislav Zas.

The head of state recalled with pleasure his recent meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Bishkek. Noting that Azerbaijan and Belarus enjoyed very close and friendly relations, President Ilham Aliyev said the two countries cooperate on all fronts, trust, respect and support each other. President Ilham Aliyev noted that relations between the two countries` leaders gave impetus to the expansion of cooperation among all bodies in Azerbaijan and Belarus, including those dealing with economic, foreign policy and security issues. The head of state stressed the importance of correctly assessing dangers and joining forces against these threats in today`s complex world. President Ilham Aliyev underlined the significance of the visit of State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council Stanislav Zas to Azerbaijan in terms of developing the bilateral ties and cooperation. The head of state said the visit will create good opportunities for discussing and addressing the issues on the agenda of the bilateral relations.

State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council Stanislav Zas recalled with pleasure that he studied at a military school in Baku from 1980 to 1985. Noting that he eye-witnessed huge development in Baku, Stanislav Zas said he was very happy with the dynamic development of Azerbaijan, especially its capital. He hailed President Ilham Aliyev`s special services in all achievements of the Azerbaijani people, adding he was deeply impressed by these outstanding accomplishments.

They praised mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, military-technical and other areas.
