Ilham Aliyev received delegation led by second Vice President of Chamber of Deputies of Argentine National Congress

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by second Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of Argentine National Congress Patricia Gimenez.

The head of state hailed Patricia Gimenez`s visiting Azerbaijan with a large delegation, and expressed confidence that their participation in the 5th Baku International Humanitarian Forum will be interesting. Underling that the Forum has already grown into an international event, President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of the fact that it brings together one third of the world community. The head of state hailed relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina, and noted the significance of the functioning of the embassies and the organization of reciprocal visits at the level of foreign ministers. The Azerbaijani President said the interparliamentary cooperation is of great importance in developing the bilateral ties. President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that the meetings of Patricia Gimenez in Baku will be fruitful. The head of state noted that he is interested in rapid development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina.

Second Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of Argentine National Congress Patricia Gimenez conveyed greetings of her country`s President Mauricio Macri and the head of the National Congress to the head of state. Patricia Gimenez thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the excellent organization of the 5th Baku International Humanitarian Forum. The second Vice President noted that she met with Azerbaijan`s first lady, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva earlier today. She said they were deeply impressed by the beauty of Baku and by how much importance the Azerbaijani people attach to multicultural values.

The head of state thanked for the greetings of President Mauricio Macri and the head of the National Congress, and asked the chairman to extend his greetings to the Argentine President and head of the National Congress.
