Presidents of Azerbaijan and Croatia met in private
After the official welcoming ceremony, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic have had a one-on-one meeting.
The importance of the Croatian President`s visit to Azerbaijan was emphasized during the meeting. President Ilham Aliyev recalled his meeting with Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on the sidelines of the “Supporting Syria and the Region” conference in London early this year as well as his visits to Croatia. The head of state said the two countries enjoyed high-level ties in all areas.
Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic said she was pleased to be visiting Azerbaijan. She underlined the importance of the business forum to be held as part of the visit. President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic said Croatian companies were interested in operating in Azerbaijan.
They said there were good opportunities for the expansion of Azerbaijan-Croatia relations in various areas, and expressed confidence that the bilateral ties would continue to develop.
