Ilham Aliyev received credentials of incoming South African Ambassador

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa Pule Isaac Malefane.

Ambassador Pule Isaac Malefane reviewed a guard of honor.

Pule Isaac Malefane presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

President Ilham Aliyev then had a conversation with the ambassador.

Hailing political relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of South Africa, the head of state stressed the necessity of expanding cooperation in economic and trade spheres.

Saying that the Embassy of Azerbaijan operates in the Republic of South Africa for several years, President Ilham Aliyev noted the role of the embassies in defining areas of cooperation between the two countries and creating opportunities for business representatives.

Ambassador Pule Isaac Malefane said that he will spare no efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries.
