President Ilham Aliyev has inaugurated the Flag Museum in Beylagan district.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Museum, and then viewed it.
The building occupies a total area of 420 square metres. All necessary conditions were created in the Museum to showcase 129 exhibits. The Flag Museum highlights different periods of Azerbaijan`s history, the flags and emblems of the states which existed in the territory of Azerbaijan, maps, constitutions, orders and medals as well as national symbols.
Banknotes of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, post stamps of the Republic of Azerbaijan, military uniforms of officers of security and law-enforcement services are also on display here.
Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, visited Shahbulag Castle in Aghdam.
