Ilham Aliyev met with delegation led by Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today met with a delegation led by Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey Nabi Avci.

Minister Nabi Avci conveyed greetings and best wishes of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the head of state.

They highlighted the importance of the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, saying it contributes to bringing cultures and nations closer to each other and expanding cooperation in this field.

The head of state stressed the importance of Turkey`s participating in the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue at this level.

Nabi Avci thanked President Ilham Aliyev for Azerbaijan`s supporting Turkey as the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe adopted unfair decision on the country.

The head of state once again emphasized that this decision is unfair and that Azerbaijan resolutely condemns this decision.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his confidence that the two countries will maintain close cooperation within international organizations.

Nabi Avci said his country follows the development of tourism in Azerbaijan with great interest.

President Ilham Aliyev said the government attaches particular importance to the development of tourism sector in Azerbaijan, adding that the primary goal is to make tourism one of the main fields of economy.

Successful development of bilateral relations in the fields of culture and tourism was stressed, and they emphasized the importance of experience exchange in this regard.

They exchanged views over cooperation prospects.

The head of state thanked for the greetings of Recep Tayyip Erdogan and asked Nabi Avci to communicate his greetings to the President of Turkey.
