Presidents of Azerbaijan and Poland met in expanded format

President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda have held an expanded meeting joined by their delegations.

President of Poland Andrzej Duda said political relations between the two countries are developing successfully, and stressed the importance of increasing the bilateral trade. Pointing out good potential for expanding economic cooperation, President Andrzej Duda noted the significance of Azerbaijan-Poland business forum and the documents signed in terms of exploring opportunities in economic area.

President Andrzej Duda said President Ilham Aliyev`s official visit to Poland will stimulate the beginning of a new stage in the development of relations between the two countries. President Andrzej Duda said Poland supports settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the framework of Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and based on the four resolutions of the UN Security Council.

President Ilham Aliyev hailed high-level political relations between Azerbaijan and Poland. The head of state said the visit creates a good opportunity for discussing prospects of the bilateral ties. President Ilham Aliyev pointed out good opportunities for expanding economic relations between the two countries, and emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan-Poland business forum in this regard.

The presidents discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of transport, railway, energy, infrastructure, agriculture, mechanical engineering, tourism, food industry, construction, and pharmaceutical industry.
