President Ilham Aliyev received credentials from newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Azerbaijan, Sylvia Maier-Kajbic.

Ambassador presented her credentials to President Ilham Aliyev. Then, President Ilham Aliyev conversed with the Ambassador.
During the meeting, the sides emphasized the necessity of expanding the two countries` cooperation in different areas. Ambassador said that developing economic, cultural, and other relations with Azerbaijan would be key priorities during her tenure as an ambassador. Sylvia Maier-Kajbic expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani government and personally President Ilham Aliyev for assisting Austria`s government in opening of the embassy.
