President Ilham Aliyev has received Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich.

President Ilham Aliyev has received the prime minister of the Republic of Belarus, Mikhail Myasnikovich.

Stressing that bilateral relations between our countries are developing successfully and dynamically, the head of state said that Azerbaijan was interested in expanding cooperation with Belarus in all spheres. Emphasizing that there are good prospects for the further development of cooperation in the economic field and energy sector and in terms of mutual investments, President Ilham Aliyev noted the importance of identifying new spheres of cooperation. Stressing that Azerbaijan and Belarus are successfully implementing their joint projects at the Ganja car plant, the head of state assessed it as a good indicator of our economic relations. Noting that Belarus is a friend of Azerbaijan and all the organizations of our countries have established high-level relations, President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that Mikhail Myasnikovich's visit to our republic would be important in terms of developing our relations even further.

Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich conveyed greetings from Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko to our head of state. The prime minister expressed his thanks to President Ilham Aliyev for supporting joint projects being implemented between our countries, including the projects being implemented by Azerbaijan and Belarus at the Ganja car plant. He stressed that while visiting the Ganja plant, he participated in the opening of new production spheres.

The head of state expressed his thanks for the greetings from Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and asked him to convey his greetings to the Belarusian head of state.
