President Ilham Aliyev has received Russian Defense Minister Anatoliy Serdyukov.
President Ilham Aliyev said during the meeting that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia were successfully developing in all the spheres, including the military sector, and expressed satisfaction with the military and technical cooperation within the framework of multilateral relations.
The head of state stressed the importance of the Russian defense minister’s visit to Azerbaijan from the standpoint of discussion of bilateral military cooperation and identification of future cooperation directions.
Russian Defense Minister Anatoliy Serdyukov said all the issues pertaining to the military and military-technical cooperation between the two countries were being fulfilled in a timely manner at the level of defense ministries of the two countries.
