President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the inauguration of a high-voltage equipment plant of ATEF Group of Companies in Surakhani district.
Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev informed the head of state of the establishment and activities of the plant.
Head of ATEF Group of Companies Talib Alikhanbayov briefed the President on the company`s Baku oil transformer plant in Amirjan settlement, a metalware plant in Hovsan settlement, and a transformer and electrical equipment plant in Garachukhur settlement.
President Ilham Aliyev launched the high-voltage equipment plant, and then viewed the production process.
The plant, which occupies a total area of 18,000 hectares, consists of seven production areas.
The facility created 310 jobs.
ATEF Group of Companies enterprises employ a total of 2,024 people.
