Dear Ilham Heydar oglu,

I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and the whole friendly people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the anniversary of the national holiday of your country, the Republic Day.

This remarkable holiday gives me an opportunity to wish you the best of health, happiness, and success, and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan prosperity, peace and progress.

Modern Azerbaijan has made great strides in its socio-economic and political development. Your country enjoys a decent influence on the international scene. As sincere friends we in Tajikistan are happy for Azerbaijan’s achievements.

Fortunately, based on strong historical traditions of friendship and mutual respect, Tajikistan-Azerbaijan relations are steadily developing. Together with you we are determined to add a new dimension to these relations to address the realities of the time.

I would like to express my confidence that our upcoming high-level visits will give a new impetus to the development and strengthening of our mutually beneficial cooperation.
