It is a pleasure to congratulate you on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Republic Day of Azerbaijan. I send you my best wishes for the well-being and prosperity of your country and its people.

I am delighted by Your Excellency’s personal support to the travel and tourism industry, which highlights the importance that your Government attributes to tourism as a tool for sustainable socio-economic development.

I was pleased to learn of your recent decree establishing the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan. We have already contacted its Chairman to express UNWTO’s full support to Azerbaijan in its undertakings for the further development of its tourism industry.
