Dear Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev!

I am writing to you because I have visited Azerbaijan for the first time in my 16 years. I was born in Latvia, but my father is Azerbaijani. Now our family live in the UK. This summer we were visiting with our relatives in Gadabay and Sumgayit. We have also been to Baku – it is a beautiful city! I love Azerbaijan and its people very much. I can only watch Azerbaijan from a distance, see it developing, and it will become one of the best countries in the world if citizens apply effort to achieve that. Unfortunately, my junior brother and I don’t speak Azeri, but we are learning it, and I think it is very easy. Maybe in the future we will move to Azerbaijan for good. We are very proud of our country. We are very grateful to you and your family for your efforts towards prosperity of the country. We appreciate it. Thank you very much.
