Dear Mr. President,
It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the death of Chairman of the High Peace Council and former President of Afghanistan, distinguished statesman Burhanuddin Rabbani, in a terror act.
We are very frustrated over this heinous act. We resolutely condemn terrorism, and support every fight against all its forms and manifestations.
On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my deepest condolences to You, the family of the deceased, and your people over this heavy loss.
May God rest his soul in peace!
