Ilham Aliyev reviewed the Heydar Aliyev Center in Khachmaz

As part of a visit to Khachmaz District, President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the Heydar Aliyev Center after reconstruction.

It was indicated that built in Khachmaz in 2005, the Heydar Aliyev Center was renovated and reconstructed in 2010. The roof of the center was rebuilt in the shape of a dome, while the windows are made in the shebeke style. The center consists of a hall, six sections and three additional rooms. The collection of photographs and exhibits reflecting the life and activities of Heydar Aliyev expressly shows again that the great leader has done invaluable work to strengthen the international authority and independence of our country.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the center’s sections devoted to the life and activities of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev have photographs reflecting the great leader’s childhood and adolescence, material describing the socioeconomic development of our country and measures taken in other spheres in the 1969-1982 period, the creative work in the sociopolitical and socio-cultural fields after he returned to power on the persistent requests of the Azerbaijani people in 1993.

Other valuable exhibits include photographs documenting the nationwide leader’s meetings with representatives of the public and workers at different periods of leadership in the republic, his care and attention to education, culture, healthcare, sports, army building and oil strategy. In short, this center will play an important part in promoting the heritage of Heydar Aliyev and create extensive opportunities to expand the world outlook and improve the knowledge and skills of the young generation.

President Ilham Aliyev reviewed a photo album reflecting the work carried out in Khachmaz and the sights of the district.
