Ilham Aliyev reviewed the Museum of Outstanding Personalities in Khachmaz

As part of a visit to Khachmaz District, President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the Museum of Outstanding Personalities in Khachmaz.

The head of state was informed that the Museum of Outstanding Personalities was established in Khachmaz in 2006. It had the busts of 15 prominent personalities at the time. In 2010, the museum was expanded and reconstructed. Covering an area of two hectares now, the outdoor museum has a statue of great Nizami Ganjavi and busts of 39 Azerbaijani poets and writers, people of culture and arts. The museum’s five fountains have been reconstructed and a water spring complex established on the premises.

The head of state gave a high assessment to the work done, and gave instructions and recommendations.
