An official reception in honor of the participants of the Baku International Humanitarian Forum has been hosted at the Buta Palace.
The ceremony was joined by President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva.
The ceremony participants warmly welcomed the head of state and his wife.
In remarks at the reception, President Ilham Aliyev said:

Let me sincerely welcome all of you to Azerbaijan again!
The First Baku International Humanitarian Forum has successfully continued its activity today. the first day has been very successful. The ideas expressed at the forum have made a great contribution to humanitarian cooperation.
I want to thank everyone who has addressed the forum.
The forum will be continued tomorrow. We will hear valuable and interesting presentations in different sections of the forum tomorrow. In short, I am very glad that this forum has become a forum that can unite nations. It has become a forum that unites forces of good around the world. I do hope that this forum will produce excellent results.
Let me warmly welcome all the guests attending the forum. In particular, let me sincerely welcome my colleagues, former presidents. I am welcoming the heads of international organizations. Among us today there are prominent statesmen and public figures, members of NGOs, civil society and journalists. You are our guests. I think that the Baku International Humanitarian Forum will take its rightful place in the world. I do hope that this forum has a bright future.

Then a concert of the Azerbaijan state chamber orchestra named after Gara Garayev conducted by People’s Artist Teymur Geychayev was held.
