After a face-to-face meeting, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Federal President of the Republic of Austria Heinz Fischer held a meeting in an expanded format with the participation of delegations.

- Dear Mr. President!

Dear guests!

Let me salute you in Azerbaijan again. Welcome to our country! Your visit is very important to us and to the development of bilateral relations between our countries. I am sure that the visit will produce very successful results.

We plan to sign a number of important documents and discuss a number of different issues. Our bilateral agenda is quite broad. We are ready to discuss a number of issues of interest pertaining to energy cooperation and economic activities, including a settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. We are embarking on a new stage in our rapidly developing bilateral relations.

I am aware of the mutual interest in the economic sphere. Meetings will be held between our business people. There are also good results in the cultural field. I think we can be pleased with the level of our cooperation. Of course, your visit will further strengthen these relations, which will produce excellent results.

Let me welcome you to Azerbaijan again!
