President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Agsu culture and recreation park after major overhaul.
The President was informed that the entrance to the park is 9 meters high and consists of four columns. It has been built in line with the Azerbaijani architectural tradition. The park, covering an area of 1.6 hectares, has been completely rebuilt over the course of 18 months.
The new fountain adds special beauty to the park. Residents can also use six covered areas. The culture and recreation park has interesting attractions for kids, a section on folk tales and a stage for various performances. While the earlier evergreen plants have been preserved, new trees and flower bushes have been planted on an area of 7,500 square meters.
