Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the Ambassador of Algeria to Azerbaijan, Mr. Mouloud Hamai

President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Algeria to Azerbaijan, Mr. Mouloud Hamai.

Ambassador Mouloud Hamai reviewed the guard of honor.

Mouloud Hamai presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan had a discussion with the Ambassador.

Pointing to the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Algeria, the head of state said the two countries also had a good level of cooperation in different international organizations. President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude to the government of Algeria for its support of Azerbaijan in the UN Security Council vote. Noting that there are extensive opportunities for further developing the relations between the two countries, President Aliyev expressed confidence that these relations would expand during the diplomatic activities of Ambassador Mouloud Hamai in Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Mouloud Hamai conveyed greetings on behalf of the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, to the President of Azerbaijan. He said he would spare no effort to expand the bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

The President of Azerbaijan expressed his gratitude for the greetings from the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, and asked the Ambassador to communicate his greetings to the President of Algeria.
