Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to Azerbaijan, Mr. Seth Koranteng

President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to Azerbaijan, Mr. Seth Koranteng.

Ambassador Seth Koranteng reviewed the guard of honor.

Seth Koranteng presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan had a discussion with the Ambassador.

Ambassador Seth Koranteng conveyed greetings on behalf of the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Evans Atta Mills, to the President of Azerbaijan and said he was pleased to start his diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan. He emphasized that his country was interested in closely cooperating with Azerbaijan. Ambassador Seth Koranteng pointed to the fact that the creative work started by nationwide leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, was being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. Saying that he was deeply impressed by Azerbaijan’s development, the diplomat mentioned it was important to benefit from Azerbaijan’s economic development experience.

The head of state said Azerbaijan was also interested in developing bilateral relations with Ghana and expressed his gratitude to the government of Ghana for its support of Azerbaijan in the UN Security Council vote.

The President of Azerbaijan expressed his gratitude for the greetings from the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Evans Atta Mills, and asked the Ambassador to communicate his greetings to the President of Ghana.
