Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the Ambassador of Ethiopia to Azerbaijan, Mr. Mulatu Teshome

President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Azerbaijan, Mr. Mulatu Teshome.

Ambassador Mulatu Teshome reviewed the guard of honor.

Mulatu Teshome presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan had a discussion with the Ambassador.

The head of state expressed his gratitude to the government of Ethiopia for its support of Azerbaijan in the UN Security Council vote. Wishing the Ambassador every success in his diplomatic activities, President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that the relations between Azerbaijan and Ethiopia would expand further during his diplomatic mission in the country.

Ambassador Mulatu Teshome conveyed greetings on behalf of the President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde-Giorgis, to the President of Azerbaijan and pointed to a mutual interest in expanding the relations between the two countries in all spheres.

The President of Azerbaijan expressed his gratitude for the greetings from the President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde-Giorgis, and asked the Ambassador to communicate his greetings to the President of Ethiopia.
