President Ilham Aliyev has telephoned President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan congratulated the President of Russia on United Russia Party’s victory in the election to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The United Russia Party’s list was topped by Dmitry Medvedev.
President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and congratulation.
During the telephone conversation the Presidents expressed their satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation in various spheres and voiced confidence that these relations would continue to expand in the future too.
