President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev has telephoned President Ilham Aliyev.
President Medvedev congratulated the President of Azerbaijan on his 50th birthday anniversary and wished him continued success in his presidential activities.
President Ilham Aliyev thanked the Russian President for the congratulations and attention.
During the conversation the Presidents pointed to the successful development of bilateral relations in all areas, stressed the importance of mutual high-level visits and meetings from the standpoint of further development of cooperation and expressed confidence that the relations would continue to expand in the future too.
