President Ilham Aliyev has received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ismatulla Ergashev at the end of his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
Ambassador Ismatulla Ergashev stressed that his diplomatic activities in Azerbaijan were successful. He expressed his gratitude to the Government of Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev personally for the good conditions created for the Embassy of Uzbekistan.
The head of state emphasized that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have historically had friendly and fraternal relations. Speaking highly of the contribution Ismatulla Ergashev has made to the further strengthening of these relations, President Ilham Aliyev wished him continued success in his future activities.
