President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Turkish Minister of Internal Affairs, Idris Naim Sahin.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Idris Naim Sahin, passed on greetings and best wishes on behalf of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the President of Azerbaijan.
The sides exchanged views on the development of the relations of friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Turkey, including the successful cooperation between internal affairs institutions, and expressed confidence that the visit by the Turkish Minister of Internal Affairs, Idris Naim Sahin, would contribute to a further expansion of these ties.
The parties also pointed to the importance of a joint fight against crime, coordination and information exchange in this sphere.
The President thanked the minister for the greetings from Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and asked him to communicate his greetings to the Turkish Prime Minister.
