President Ilham Aliyev has examined the condition of nursery-kindergartens in the Nizami and Khatai districts of Baku after major repairs and reconstruction.

First, President Ilham Aliyev arrived at nursery-kindergarten No. 110 in the Nizami district of the capital. Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov informed President Aliyev of the work done during renovation and reconstruction of the building. It was noted that the building was constructed in 1965 and was last renovated in 1976. The establishment is intended for 220 children divided in 12 groups. At present, there are seven groups and a total of 150 kids. The premises for the remaining five groups are currently occupied by the internally displaced persons. It was indicated that the total area of the building is ,1700 square meters. According to the instructions of the President, the two-storey building of the nursery-kindergarten consisting of six sections has been repaired in a short time in accordance with modern standards. The boiler has been rebuilt, a new heating system established and the building provided with hot and cold water. The dining room also meets modern requirements. The kindergarten’s courtyard covering an area of one hectare has been landscaped. There are places for kids to play in. The lighting system in and around the building has been completely renovated and lampposts replaced.

President Ilham Aliyev also reviewed nursery-kindergarten No. 251 in the Khatai district after reconstruction. The President was briefed on the work done. It was noted that the nursery-kindergarten was built in 1984. The kindergarten for 120 kids operates six groups. The total area of the two-storey building consisting of 4 sections is 1,100 square meters. Thanks to the repairs and reconstruction, the most modern facilities for the training and education of children have been created. The boiler of the nursery-kindergarten has been completely reconstructed, a modern heating system and an uninterrupted supply of hot and cold water established.

The courtyard of the kindergarten covering an area of 3500 square meters has been landscaped, necessary conditions for children's games created and the lighting system renewed.

Both kindergartens have been fitted with CCTV cameras.

After reviewing the work done, the President gave relevant instructions.
