Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation

President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, Ildar Khalikov.

The President congratulated the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, Ildar Khalikov, and all the people of Russia on the successful conclusion of the presidential election. Saying that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and individual subjects of the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Tatarstan, was developing dynamically, President Aliyev pointed to the good opportunities for a further expansion of ties. Indicating the importance of mutual visits for the strengthening of relations, the President expressed hope that the visit of the Prime Minister of Tatarstan to Azerbaijan would serve to further enhance these relations.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, Ildar Khalikov, said he had come to Azerbaijan with a large delegation which includes representatives of government agencies, business community, financial and banking sector of Tatarstan, and emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation.
