Ilham Aliyev attended the holiday of flowers

A magnificent holiday of flowers has been arranged outside the Heydar Aliyev Palace in Baku on the occasion of the 89th birthday anniversary of nationwide leader of the Azerbaijani people, world-famous politician Heydar Aliyev.

President Ilham Aliyev, his wife Mehriban Aliyeva and their family have joined the holiday of flowers.

Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov informed the President that residents of the capital have been coming to the park, decorated with flowers from all over the world, since early morning.

The formidable statue of the savior and builder of the independent Azerbaijani state, the great son of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev was surrounded with beautiful flowers, while the pedestal was covered with white flowers.

President Ilham Aliyev and his family visited the statue of the great leader and toured the park filled with flagrant spring flowers.

The various flower “carpets”, including one with a portrait of the great son of the Turkic world “woven” in fresh flowers, are particularly beautiful. Another interesting composition made of different flowers reflects figure 89.

One flower composition in the beautifully looking park depicts Azerbaijan’s historical monuments. A composition featuring the Maiden Tower and the Twin Tower Gates deserves special mention. The park has been decorated in a manner reminiscent of a fairy tale.

There are also characters from Azerbaijani and world people’s fairy tales – all made from flowers.

The kids dressed like flowers sincerely greeted President Ilham Aliyev and his family, further bolstering the holiday atmosphere.

The President and his family talked to the kids and were photographed in front of the statue of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev covered with flowers.
