First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva: We will never forget Patriotic War martyrs

First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has made an Instagram post about the martyrs who died in the Patriotic War.

Dear brothers and sisters!

Today, we pay tribute to the memory of martyrs fell in the battles of the Patriotic War.

The brave sons of the people of Azerbaijan sacrificed their lives for the Victory and for the future of Azerbaijan.

Each of them is a true hero exemplifying valor and fearlessness.

Today I am saddened jointly with our martyrs’ families and I share the sympathies of their parents raising sons ready to sacrifice their lives for the Motherland. The blood of our martyrs was not shed in vain – we restored the historical justice and gained the sacred Victory. This Victory leaves the eternal imprint in our people’s history!

Each of us indebted to keep in memory the costs of gaining this Victory! We will never forget the martyrs of the Patriotic War. They will forever live in our hearts.

May Allah rest the souls of our martyrs in peace and bestow the soonest recovery to all wounded, and force and patience to their families and beloved ones. May the Almighty God bless Azerbaijan and the people of Azerbaijan!
